I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and National Certified Counselor (NCC) who specializes in helping teens, college students, adults, and couples who are navigating anxiety, grief, trauma, or disconnection in their lives and relationships.
My path as a counselor has led me through a wide range of clinical settings, including intensive outpatient programs (IOPs), community mental health centers, and university counseling clinics. Working across these diverse environments allowed me to walk alongside individuals navigating everything from acute crisis to deep-seated grief to everyday burnout.
These experiences reinforced a core truth that guides my practice today: no matter how complex or heavy your story is, you deserve a space where you feel genuinely seen, heard, and supported.
I don't expect you to walk into my office with everything figured out. My practice philosophy is centered around meeting you exactly where you are and letting your unique needs lead our work together because therapy is never a one-size-fits-all process. Some sessions are focused on unpacking your week and processing your emotions, while others are focused on actively learning strategies to cope with your presenting symptoms.
Your story is unique, which means your therapeutic journey should be too. So rather than forcing you into a rigid, textbook treatment plan, I draw from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and EMDR while weaving in practical tools from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). This allows us to craft a personalized therapeutic experience shaped entirely around your personal history, values, and goals. For couples, we integrate Gottman Method strategies to disrupt negative interaction cycles and rebuild a deep, lasting emotional connection.
Ultimately, my goal is to help you unpack the heavy baggage you've been hauling around. By sorting through the mental and emotional clutter that has kept you stuck in survival mode, together we'll set aside what no longer serves you to free up your energy, give you room to breathe, and provide the clarity to build a life aligned with what matters to you most.
Seeing my clients grow and find hope again is why I truly love the work I do. I firmly believe that everyone possesses the innate strength within themselves to heal from the wounds that come with the human experience, discover their purpose, and move toward creating a meaningful life.

When I’m not in the therapy room or working on my doctoral coursework, I focus on balancing my energy in a few different ways. To unwind and clear my mind, I like taking long walks, getting lost in a good book, or watching a variety of video essays. For fun, I love trying new foods, shopping for silly finds, and catching different sports games. Lastly, whether we're playing board games or enjoying a new movie, spending quality time with the people I love ultimately keeps me centered in both my life and my work.
“Commitment isn’t about being perfect, always following through, or never going astray. Commitment means that when you (inevitably) stumble or get off track, you pick yourself up, find your bearings, and carry on in the direction you want to go.” - Russ Harris
